The police filed charges against the man for illegally entering Croatia. He was caught on Tuesday evening at the village of Bunic near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, carrying the western Europe-bound migrants in his van with Slovenian license plates.

All Pakistani nationals were also charged with illegal entry into the country, and another charge was filed against the van driver for using illegal license plates.

Earlier this week, Slovenian police reported that they had caught 34 irregular migrants near the Slovenia-Croatia border crossings of Metlika and Crnomelj.
