The sand pyramids near the eastern Bosnia's town of Foca are a rare phenomenon and the masterpiece of nature, reminding of those seen in Colorado, USA, the Dolomites, Italy, or the pyramids of the Devil's Town in Serbia. N1 has provided the view of the pyramids from the sky in cooperation with the Dron.ba, a video production company.

The sand pyramids were formed under the influence of summer rains, strong winds and heavy frost. They were first mentioned in the Austro-Hungarian era and, according to some estimates, they were formed 200 years ago.

The erosion process in the pyramid's area is still ongoing, therefore they are growing bigger and some of their peaks reach the height of up to 20 metres.

In a series of episodes created in cooperation with video production company Dron.ba, N1 will represent the most beautiful sights of nature in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
