Serbia’s Ministry of Justice has on Wednesday received Bosnia’s request for the extradition of Husein Mujanovic, who Serbian authorities arrested in July over suspicion that he committed war crimes against Bosnian Serbs in Sarajevo.

“The request for extradition to Bosnia and Herzegovina came in during the day and it will be forwarded to the competent court for further processing,” the Serbian Justice Ministry said on Wednesday. 

Mujanovic is alleged to have been the wartime head warden of a camp in the Sarajevan neighborhood of Hrasnica where Bosnian Serbs were kept, and he was arrested at the Priboj-Uvac border crossing.
