Iranian citizens come into Serbia as tourists and then cross into Bosnia as migrants, Bosnia's Council of Ministers told N1.

"We’ve familiarised the EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn and Serbian institutions about this issue. Serbia had abolished visas for Iran and formed a visa-free regime with them. They currently have three flights per week, with a tendency to make it five flights per week," Denis zvizdic said.

"They’re coming to Serbia as tourists and then showing up in Bosnia as undocumented migrants. This, certainly, must end," Zvizdic stressed.

The number of migrants has decreased over the past several months, and he said the operative staff is doing a good job.

From the beginning of 2018, some 12,000 migrants entered the country and just over 3,000 are currently on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zvidic said that state institutions are working on the reconstruction of facilities for the housing of migrants. All other stories about the migrants are nothing more but election spins, he stressed.
