A film by Bosnian author Aida Begic, Never Leave Me, has been nominated Bosnia's candidate for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina said on Thursday.
The film which premiered at the last year's Antalya Film Festival and was screened at the Sarajevo Film Festival this year was selected by the jury consisting of renowned Bosnia's film artists.
The Association has been in charge of the nominations of Bosnian films for the Academy Awards for the past 18 years, nominating No Man's Land by Danis Tanovic in 2001, the film that won the Oscar in March 2002.
