Bosnia’s election watchdog said 11.41 percent of voters voted in the general election until 11 am.
“We can expect a similar turnout to the one four years ago and as usual, the biggest turnout will be in smaller towns and municipalities. The biggest turnout was registered in Kalinovik (central Bosnia) with 31 percent,” Head of the Central Election Commission Branko Petric, said.
The commission said they had no information of tear gas being thrown in Doboj, as reported by the “Pod Lupom” coalition earlier on Sunday.
Bosnia’s general election is held on Sunday, October 7 and the election kicked off at 7 am. Election places will close at 7 pm and the first preliminary results should be known by 9 pm, according to the state election watchdog.
