There is no Christmas peace without forgiveness and reconciliation, Bosnia's Archbishop, Cardinal Vinko Puljic said Tuesday in his traditional Christmas message to all Catholics in the country.

“While we're being forgiven by God we must also forgive each other because there is no Christmas peace without forgiveness and reconciliation,” said Puljic.

Christmas is a source of power and hope as well as a stronghold to preserve the family nest.

“If we're aware of being the loved children of God, the power of faith and hope will live within despite all threats of today,” said Puljic in his message.

Earlier today, Head of Bosnia's Islamic Community, Husein Kavazovic, congratulated Christmas to all Catholics and head of Catholic community.

“My dear neighbour, to you and all Catholic faithful in the country and the world, here is a warmest congratulation on occasion of your great feast conveyed on my own and the behalf of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with hope that our Great Lord will give us mutual understanding and trust, and help us in the good,” said Kavazovic.
