Two Srebrenica villages in the easternmost part of Bosnia were cut from the main road and the town area due to the snow that has been falling for days in this part of the country.

“The roads are not open, the situation is concerning and the residents are in a panic,” head of Luka local community Hamo Zulanovic told news agencies.

‘Polet’ utility company cleaned the road on January 11 last time but snow started falling again and the village of Luka got blocked again, said Zulanovic.

The Civil Protection Administration of Bosnia's Federation entity sent its vehicles to clean up the roads to the two villages after the local community services failed to solve the problem and asked for help.

Sarajevo-based Pomozi.ba humanitarian association prepared food packages for the locals and necessary medicines for those having flu.
