What first appears to be a frozen field is actually a frozen mountain lake that emerged in 1964 when locals set up a dam on the Spreca river.
The artificial lake near the north-eastern town of Lukavac, is an attractive location for fishermen and tourists. It is 12 kilometres long, some 700 metres wide on average, and up to 14 metres deep.
Footage by dron.ba in cooperation with N1 shows what the lake looks like covered by snow.
