Bosnian state prosecution has formed a case to investigate the corruption allegations published by a local media outlet, which allegedly involve a top judicial official, a spokesperson for Bosnia's Prosecutor's Office confirmed for N1 on Wednesday.
According to Bosnian investigative news outlet Zurnal.info, Chairman of High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) Milan Tegeltija allegedly used his position to accelerate cases before the state judicial institutions in return for money, using a mediator in communication with his clients.
Reportedly, it was Marko Pandza, a state police officer, who was taking money on Tegeltija's behalf.
Tegeltija dismissed the allegations, calling them malicious.
