LGBT activists organising the first Bosnian Pride Parade unveiled that the route of the march set to take place on September 8 will include the main streets of Sarajevo and will end up in front of the State Parliament's building.
The starting point of the walk will be on Titova Street, in front of the Eternal Flame memorial.
The goal of the event is to emphasise that the LGBTIQ population is also part of this community, said the organisers.
“It is important for people to understand that we also live in this country, that we are educated and work here and, after all, that we pay taxes here,” one of the organisers, Lejla Huremovic, said in N1's Novi dan programme.
All those interested in taking part in the march do not need to fill in any applications and are welcome to come, the organisers said earlier.
“The support of the fellow citizens, who will stand next to us and say they refuse to live in the society of violence, is what matters,” added Huremovic.
