Civil Protection officers have on Thursday dismantled a UK-produced 500-kilogram aerial bomb that was found at a construction site in Sarajevo.

The bomb was most likely dropped in 1944.

“There is no need for an evacuation. The most difficult part of the job is done and the easier part will be done this evening,” Sead Vrana from the Civil Protection Administration of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity told N1.
