There are certain concerns among Bosnian Serbs, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will try to decrease tensions and let members of Bosnian Serb parliamentary parties know that Serbia supports the Dayton Peace Agreement which ended the war in Bosnia, said Serbian Secretary-General Nikola Selakovic amid the meeting between Vucic and representatives of major Bosnian Serb parties.

Speaking to Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS) Selakovic said that the gravity of the situation and Vucic's political authority convinced all invited representatives of Serb parties from Bosnia to attend the meeting on the occasion of the Democratic Action Party's program declaration.

"Serbia has a constant in its relation to Bosnia and it respects the Dayton Bosnia," Selakovic said.

He added that changing the Dayton Peace Agreement requires the consent of all parties.

The main Bosniak party in the country, the Democratic Action Party (SDA) held a party Congress in Sarajevo, on Sunday, where they adopted a declaration, outlining the party's future goals.

Some of those goals include the creation of a democratic, regionalised, lawful and welfare state under the name of ‘Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ which should have state, regional and local governments.

This caused a storm of comments from major Serb and Croat parties in the country, arguing that the declaration is a call to conflict, intolerance and that it violates the Constitution.

"Through numerous projects, Serbia has invested in all 63 municipalities in Republika Srpska, through various projects it helped the construction or renovation of kindergartens, schools, hospitals, etc," Selakovic noted.

He added that, by next week, Serbia's current level of assistance to the RS will be worth € 34 million.
