One of Bosnia's best athletes, 800-metre racer Amel Tuka, qualified for the finals at the World Athletics Championship in Doha Sunday evening, after winning in the third heat in 1:45:63.

Two runners from each of three heats in semi-finals qualified for the final race taking place on October 1.

Tuka's opponents in the finals will be Wesley Vasquez (PRT), Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich (KEN), Clayton Murphy (USA), Donavan Brazier (USA), Marco Arop (KAN), Bryce Hoppel (USA) and Adrian Ben (ESP).
