UEFA launches procedure against Turkish team players, including a Bosnian

Anadolija

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has launched a disciplinary procedure against six players of Turkish 'Basaksehir' team, including Bosnian player Edin Visca.

The procedure was launched after the teammates celebrated the score against German's ‘Wolfsberger’ in late October by saluting their supporters, which was interpreted as a sign of support to the Turkish troops and their recent military actions in Syria.

Only two of the six ‘Basaksehir’ players were Turks.
