The strongest Bosniak party, the Democratic Action Party (SDA), welcomed on Tuesday the Presidency's agreement to support Zoran Tegeltija for prime minister-designate, after more than a year of failed negotiations since the general election.

"Every political compromise in Bosnia and Herzegovina that allows for the country's progress and is in line with the rule of law and earlier decisions and laws is a victory of all Bosnian citizens,” the SDA said in a public statement.

Both the Bosnian Presidency Chairmen and the Presidency's PR Office said Tuesday that the Bosniak and Croat members agreed to support Zoran Tegeltija for the Council of Ministers' Chairman designate and that the Serb member agreed to submit “a document” to NATO, thus continuing the country's cooperation with NATO.

The party expects that the Presidency's decision will be implemented as soon as possible and that the country's integration and reform processes aimed at improving the citizens' living standard to continue.
