Five carriers have reintroduced their regular flights to the Sarajevo International Airport after the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina relaxed the movement restriction measures introduced following the coronavirus epidemic, the airport management told N1.
While Croatia Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Turkish Airlines connect the Bosnian capital with Zagreb, Vienna and Istanbul three times a week, WizzAir, AirSerbia and Eurowings operate to Budapest, Belgrade and Cologne once a week.
“The companies are closely following the measures towards foreign nationals concerning their entry to our country i.e. the entry of Bosnian nationals to other countries,” according to the airport management.
According to the statement, several other carriers including Pegasus Airlines, FlyDubai and AirArabia are expected to re-establish the flights to Sarajevo in the upcoming period, depending on the epidemiological situation and potential restrictions.
