Kon, a member of the Serbian government pandemic Crisis Staff, told the state TV (RTS) that the suggestion is for classes to be cut down to 30 minutes from the customary 45 minutes with 20-minute breaks to disinfect the classrooms. He added that the most likely each individual school would decide what to do.
“Wearing masks is also just a suggestion,” he said.
According to Kon, the coronavirus pandemic is easing in this country with less potential for more infections which is confirmed by the lower number of hospitalized patients. He warned that this does not mean that the situation is stable.
