The State Prosecutor’s Office issued an indictment against a Sarajevo resident charged with a verbal attack on the police officer securing the facilities of the US Embassy in the Bosnian capital.

According to the indictment, Tahir Lelebievski born in Sarajevo in 1995 approached the officer of Bosnia’s Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies on September 2, 2019, and addressed him with serious threats as well as vulgar words. The officer was at that moment securing the building of the US Embassy in Sarajevo.

Lelebiovski was charged with committing the criminal act of an attack on official, regulated by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictment was sent to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
