Skopje reports nine deaths, 98 newly infected with coronavirus
In the last 24 hours, nine patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 1.404 people tested, 98 were confirmed infected in North Macedonia, the country’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
It added the death toll stood at 661, while 15,925 cases of infection had been confirmed since the epidemic outbreak.
On Tuesday, there were 1,846 active cases, two of whom on ventilators and 40 on the oxygen support.
Skopje’s Public Health Institute said that 13,418 patients had recovered so far, while a total number of 167,760 people had been tested.
