Bosnia women's basketball team wins against Estonia in Eurobasket qualifiers

Bosnia women's basketball team won against the national team of Estonia with 92:54, on Thursday, in the third round of qualifications for the 2021 European Championship.

Team manager Goran Lojo's team justified the role of the favourite and took another step towards the Eurobasket, with the third win in a row.

From the beginning of the match, Bosnia's basketball team set the pace of the game and increased their advantage from minute to minute, which was double-digit in the first period, only to increase to 30 points by the end of the first half of the match.

The Bosnian national team continued to dominate and eventually won the match.

The most efficient Bosnian players were Marica Gajic and Jonquel Jones, who increased their “double” double performance, Gajic scored 21 points with 19 rebounds, while Jones scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Milica Deura scored 16 points.

In the first match of the third round in this group, Russia defeated Switzerland 98:42.

Bosnia and Russia will meet on Saturday and should Bosnian team win – they would qualify for the European Championships.
