Telemach BiH donates equipment worth 30,000 BAM to Travnik Cantonal Hospital

The company Telemach BiH is celebrating its 10th birthday and decided to spread the joy of its first decade of successful business in Bosnia and Herzegovina with donations to ten institutions in ten towns in the country. This time, the company donated to the Cantonal Hospital in the central town of Travnik, supporting a project of building up the hospital’s telecommunication infrastructure with equipment worth 30,000 Bosnian Marks.

The project will help with the process of complete digitalization of the internal service and health system of the Travnik Cantonal Hospital and will improve and modernize the monitoring of health services, from diagnosis to treatment of all citizens from the entire Central Bosnia Canton, reduce paperwork and speed up the distribution of diagnostic findings, improve the hospital's internal documentation search system, and ultimately improve the quality of work and information exchange.

“The donation to the Travnik Cantonal Hospital is a symbiosis of what has been driving us for 10 years: the advanced services we provide and the most modern technologies we introduce to the market, with our support for and commitment to the community and society which we are a proud member of, putting technology into the service of citizens,” said Hajdi Mostic, President of the Board of Directors of the Telemach foundation.

“We are aware of how crucial the health sector is for all of us, especially in the period we are currently in, so we hope that the work of health workers at the Travnik Cantonal hospital will be, at least partly, easier. Diagnostic departments, laboratories, hospital rooms, sophisticated medical devices, administration, but also a new facility that will be used for diagnostics using magnetic resonance technology, will be, with our help, soon connected into a single network,” she said, adding that “the donation is a sign of support as well as gratitude to all the brave and tireless health workers for everything they do for us.”

Telemach will install optical infrastructure in the building of the Cantonal Hospital and connect all the rooms that are important for the functioning of the hospital to one network. The company will also set up a free WIFI service for citizens, visitors and patients in all admission departments and clinics within the hospital.

“We are honoured by the support from the company Telemach BiH, which will make the demanding everyday life of the staff and other users of Travnik Cantonal Hospital much easier in the future. The donation from Telemach will speed up the process of diagnosis and treatment, which is extremely important to the health institution,” said the director of the hospital, Dr Mirsad Granov, adding that the institution is especially grateful for the internet service the company is providing for patients and visitors at the hospital to make their stay more comfortable.

For its 10th anniversary of doing business in Bosnia, Telemach is donating to ten institutions in ten towns in the country.

The company, which employs more than 650 people, is committed to the progress of the community where it operates and to assisting various social groups.

Telemach BiH and its services, EON and Total TV, as well as the TV channels and web portal of N1 and Nova BiH, operate as part of the United Group.
