Aki Rahimovski singer of legendary Parni Valjak dies aged 67

Aki Rahimovski, the legendary singer of the Croatian rock band Parni Valjak, passed away at the age of 67, the band’s official website confirmed.

Parni Valjak members said goodbye to their frontman with an emotional announcement.

“'For a touch of tenderness, I’ll agree to everything, for a touch tenderness, that I may fall asleep.’ Dear friends, with indescribable sadness in our hearts, we inform you that today, January 22, 2022, Aki Rahimovski fell asleep forever,” reads the announcement.

His manager Damir Osredecki also confirmed this sad news to the Croatian media.

“He got sick this morning, he ended up in the hospital in Novo Mesto. An hour ago, they told me that he had passed away, we still don't know the cause of death,” Osredecki told 24sata.hr.

Rahimovski was the founder and frontman of the famous Zagreb band Parni Valjak. He was born on June 5, 1955.
