Outgoing US Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson said in his farewell message it was his honour to serve in Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past three years.
In a brief video recap of his term, Nelson said he visited over 70 communities in across the country despite the pandemic, and that he felt welcome in all the corners of the country that he visited.
He also said he was inspired by the many who are trying hard to make Bosnia and Herzegovina a better place for all citizens.
The United States is BiH's strongest partner and will continue to be a source of support for BiH, he stressed.
It was my great honor to serve as 🇺🇸 AMB to 🇧🇦 over the last 3 years. As I depart today, I share this message with the citizens of 🇧🇦. Thank you for making me and Filippo feel so welcome throughout my mandate. I look forward to returning as a visitor and a friend. Hvala od srca! pic.twitter.com/qx1dumsjAL
