The mandate of Judge and Vice President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miodrag Simovic expired on November 3, 2022, as he turned 70 on that day. This is the second judge to retire, and the new judges to replace them have not yet been chosen.
Mato Tadic retired earlier. Now the Constitutional Court will work without two judges, which is why the work will be at a lower capacity.
Sessions can be scheduled, but the Grand Chamber would have to make decisions unanimously since two judges are missing.
The Constitutional Court of BiH currently consists of Valerija Galic, Miodrag Simovic, Mirsad Ceman, Helen Keller, Seada Palavric, Zlatko M. Knezevic, Angelika Nussberger and Ledi Bianka.
