The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Pazar said the findings of the autopsy performed on the body of the former head of the Islamic Community in Serbia, Muamer Zukorlic, show that he died of natural causes.
The leader of the Party of Justice and Reconciliation and the son of the late religious leader, Usame Zukorlic, confirmed that the first findings on the cause of death from the forensic medicine institutes in Nis and Belgrade have arrived.
He said that the family will wait for more results from Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina before addressing the public regarding the matter.
The autopsy was requested due to the family’s suspicion that Zukorlic might have been poisoned.
