Bosnian city of Banja Luka is celebrating the Day of the City Tuesday, marking the 22.of April that has been moved to the 26th due to religious festivities, which marks the date of the liberation from the Fascist rule from 1945.

The commemoration program will begin by paying tribute to the heroes and laying wreaths at the Memorial to the Fallen Soldiers of the Second World War, then by paying tribute to the victims of the Treason process, fallen heroes from Krajina, and wreaths will be laid at the 12 Babies Monument in the city centre.

On Tuesday evening, a solemn academy will be held in the Banski Dvor as part of the City Day, while a concert “Rock Symphony” will be held on the promenade near the City Administration from 8 pm.

The concert “Rock Symphony” is a gift from the City to all fellow residents and guests.

As part of the celebration of the City Day, on Wednesday, April 27, the International Conference “DANUBE BUSINESS FORUM – Cities – bridges of integrated local development processes” will be held in the Banski Dvor.
