A team of doctors of the Banja Luka University Clinical Centre received a permission to visit convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic in his cell in The Hague.
According to the chief of the clinical centre Vlado Djajic, the permission was issued by the UN court in The Hague.
The medical staff will travel to The Hague on February 21 and, as Djajic pointed out, see if Mladic has been receiving a proper medical treatment.
Mladic was hospitalised in 2022 after his health condition deteriorated.
In June 2021, former commander of the Bosnian Serb forces was convicted to life in prison for the war crimes in the 1992-95 Bosnian war, including the Srebrenica genocide.
