Bosnia’s Presidency Chair Denis Becirovic sent a congratulatory message to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of Victory over Fascism Day, Europe Day and Golden Lilies Day. With sincere congratulations, he recalled the day when Europe celebrates the 69th anniversary of the victory over fascism, and when free Europe celebrates its day, confirming the importance of the Schuman Declaration from 1950 and the determination of European states to cooperate on the basis of universal values.

”Today we proudly celebrate the Day of Golden Lilies. The Army of the Republic of BiH was the only legal, internationally recognized military force during the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It protected the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the libertarian achievements of the liberation movements, opposing the aggression against the internationally recognized state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Becirovic stated.

He added that the Golden Lilies fought numerous decisive battles throughout their homeland. They won great victories so that today Bosnians can live in a free and independent state of BiH.

”I am grateful to all members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I proudly congratulate them on the occasion of the Day of Golden Lilies,” Becirovic stated in his congratulatory message.
