Bosnia’s Civil Affairs Minister, Ankica Gudeljevic, said on Tuesday that, after the initial setback with the COVAX mechanism, BiH now finally has enough vaccines for mass immunization against the coronavirus in the country.
Gudeljevic made the statement in Budapest, where she met with Hungarian Human Resources Minister, Miklos Kasler. She said she expects that BiH citizens will understand the importance of vaccination as the most important tool in the fight against the pandemic and will protect themselves and their loved ones.
The two ministers exchanged experiences of the activities their governments undertook in the fight against the pandemic and Gudeljevic pointed out the exceptional engagement of the Civil Affairs Ministry in providing vaccines for the citizens of BiH.
Kasler also emphasized the importance of vaccination and mentioned Hungary’s efforts in this process, as the country vaccinated almost four million people in a period of four months.
The two also expressed their readiness for improving cooperation in all areas of interest for citizens of both countries.
