The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed an indictment against former Republika Srpska Army commander Zoran Malinic who stands accused of involvement in the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide.
According to the indictment, Malinic “knowingly assisted members of a joint criminal enterprise whose plan was to capture, then imprison and swiftly execute and bury able-bodied Bosniak men from the Srebrenica enclave and thus remove them as a group.”
“In this way, a group of Bosniak people was partially exterminated, with the entire Bosniak population, up to 40,000 Bosniak civilians, removed from the Srebrenica enclave, and more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys killed,” it said.
