BiH Court frees Dragan Vikic and others of all war crimes charges

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down a verdict, on Thursday, to the former commander of Special Forces Commander of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of BiH, Dragan Vikic, Jusuf Pusina, Nermin Uzunovic and Mladen Covic freeing them of all charges.

As a former commander of the Special Forces unit and of the Reserve Unit, Vikic was accused of failing to prevent or take measures to punish subordinates. Pusina who was Assistant Minister of the Interior for Uniformed Police, was indicted on the same charged. Uzunovic and Covcic were accused as former members of the Police Reserve Unit.

Commander Vikic was greeted by numerous comrades in front of the Court of BiH who supported him.

They carried banners saying “Dragan Vikic is a hero of the city”.
