BiH Court releases private university director suspected of issuing fake diploma

The State Court rejected the Prosecution's request for custody.

Prcic's lawyer, Vasvija Vidovic, confirmed that her client is already at large.

Vidovic said earlier on Thursday that there were no grounds for extending the custody of her client and that she gave the State Court detailed reasons for that argument.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina believes that the director of the American University in BiH, Denis Prcic, had allegedly issued a fake diploma to the head of the country’s Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA), Osman Mehmedagic, so he could continue serving the post.
