The foreign policy goals of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine are the same - both countries want to become full EU and NATO members, BiH Defence Minister, Sifet Podzic, told N1.
“There are a lot of similarities, we have the same foreign policy goals, BiH wants to become a full member of the EU, it wants to join NATO, and this also goes for Ukraine,” he said.

Podzic, who last week told N1 that the Ukraine crisis could lead to a third world war, expressed concern about the major humanitarian crisis which is likely to happen in light of the Russian invasion.
“The Ukrainian people have shown patriotism, the will to defend their country,” he said, praising Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky for showing “leadership and courage.”
The BiH Defence Minister said he does not expect the talks between Ukraine and Russia on Monday to produce any results.
