May the upcoming Eid al-Adha bring Muslims across Bosnia good health, joy and happiness, said BiH Presidency members in their messages to the Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic, on Monday.

Bosniak Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic said “let this Eid al-Adha pass in the spirit of the old Bosnian tradition of multiculturalism. Let Muslims spend Eid days with their loved ones, in health and relaxation, and let them share the joy with their friends and neighbours.”

Croat Presidency member Zeljko Komsic said that “cultural differences should be our wealth and the pride of all of us, regardless of religion and ethnicity. They should connect, not separate us. Let us be an example to others in building a better, more prosperous and just society. With a wish for good health and family joy, I extend my most sincere congratulations to you, the muftis, imams and all believers of the Islamic faith in our BiH and in the world. Eid Mubarak!”

Serb Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik wrote: “On the occasion of this great holiday, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all believers of the Islamic faith in the Republika Srpska entity, Federation entity and BiH, wishing them to celebrate it in the spirit of tradition and customs among their families in health and happiness.”
