The Srebrenica - Potocari Memorial Center, a memorial and cemetery for the victims of the 1995 genocide, marks the 20th anniversary of its official opening this year. On this occasion, the former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, also sent a message, stressing that it was a great honour for him to take part in the Center’s opening.

Clinton opened the Memorial Center in Potocari in 2003 after it was founded in 2000, by the decision of the Former High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Wolfgang Petritsch.
