The body of a twelfth migrant, who died when a boat capsized on the Drina River, was found today in the village of Tegare near Bratunac, according to Boris Trninic, Acting Director of the Republika Srpska Civil Protection Administration.
Trninic stated that the body was discovered by local residents.
"Members of the Civil Protection Administration have marked the location where the body was found, and now a decision is awaited on whether it will be handed over to the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska or Serbia, who will continue the investigation," Trninic said.
The boat carrying the migrants, who were attempting to illegally cross from Serbia into Bosnia and Herzegovina, capsized two days ago on the Drina River between Drlača near Ljubovija and Orlica near Zvornik.
