Bomb alert at Sarajevo Airport, crisis situation action plan activated

As stated, an anonymous tip was received via the e-mail address of the Sarajevo International Airport about the placement of explosive devices in the area of the airport.

"Immediately after receiving the information, the crisis situation action plan was activated. All competent services on the ground are acting in accordance with their responsibilities, and all the necessary measures foreseen by the valid security protocols are implemented.

Sarajevo International Airport closely cooperates with the competent security agencies, and takes all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all those present at the airport," the Sarajevo Airport announced.

Sarajevo Canton's Interior Ministry told N1 that they do not have any additional information at this point.
