Josip Brkic, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, explained the significance and content of the newly approved document. He noted that, unlike previous versions, this program is specifically tailored to reflect the ongoing reform processes that domestic institutions must implement.

"Compared to earlier reform programs, this one mirrors the needs of the reform processes that BiH institutions should continuously carry out," Brkic stated.

Regarding the upcoming procedure once the document is forwarded to Brussels, Brkic outlined a timeline for international review. He expects that by the end of March or mid-April, NATO will assess the level of fulfillment regarding the objectives set in the Reform Program for 2025, as well as those for 2024 and 2023.

Brkic also took the opportunity to highlight the challenges faced in previous years, emphasizing that the Reform Program has frequently been "collateral" to the fluctuating political climate and internal relations within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
