A video by Bosnian blogger and travel writer Robert Dacesin titled 'Why Bosnia and Herzegovina Can Be Number 1 Travel Destination in the World' has won the World's Best Tourism Film People's Choice Award in a competition carried out by the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals.

“The video won a total of 56,914 votes from 74 countries, which is the largest number ever in the history of this competition. The official award ceremony will be held on November 24 in Valencia, Spain and I will proudly represent my country over there,” said Dacesin.

The blogger thanked all those who voted for his video.

“I might not be so good in tennis to go to Olympic games, but when it comes to tourism, this is an Olympics of this kind, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is now on the highest pedestal,” he added.

In the video he published on his YouTube channel in January this year, Dacesin presented not only the well-known pearls of Bosnia and Herzegovina's nature but also its hidden gems – all that in 12 minutes. You can watch the full video here.
