Bosnia approves AstraZeneca vaccines procured through COVAX for use

The approval, based on positive findings by the agency’s laboratory, is a condition for beginning the immunisation of the population with the vaccine, and the findings were submitted to the competent institutions in the country’s two semi-autonomous entities and the Brcko District.

On Monday, the institution approved the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines which were also procured through COVAX.

Part of the vaccines that BiH purchase through COVAX arrived at Sarajevo International Airport on March 25 - 26,400 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine and 23,400 doses of Pfizer vaccine.
