Bosnian Council of Ministers has unanimously accepted the decision concerning the entry regulations for foreigners during the pandemic, and facilitated the procedures at borders.
According to new regulations that were adopted on Friday, foreigners can now enter Bosnia and Herzegovina if they present a negative PCR test or rapid antigen test for COVID-19 at the border crossing not older than 48 hours if they come from the European countries or not older than 72 hours for the arrivals from the countries outside Europe.
Also, the foreigners are allowed to enter if they present the evidence of full vaccination (two doses) that was completed at least 14 days prior to their arrival, or the evidence of receiving one dose at least 14 days prior to the arrival, if it is a single-dose vaccine against coronavirus.
The foreigners are also allowed to enter BiH with a doctor's certificate of having recovered from COVID-19 at least 14 days or 180 days at most prior to the arrival.
Children up to the age of 7, travelling with their parents or guardians who possess one of the aforementioned entry requirements, as well as the foreigners with temporary or permanent residence in BiH, who are returning after visiting Montenegro, the Republic of Croatia or the Republic of Serbia, are allowed to enter without meeting these measures, under the condition that their stay in those countries was not longer than 48 hours.
The new regulations shall enter into force immediately and shall be published in the Official Gazette of BiH.
Earlier regulations allowing entry for the citizens of neighbouring Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro without presenting a negative PCR or rapid antigen tests, the vaccination certificate or the proof of having recovered from COVID-19, remain in effect.
