Bosnia Foreign Minister eads to Vienna for European integration talks
Bosnian Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic is set to take part in a panel discussion in Vienna today entitled "Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Path to the European Union – Achievements and Challenges." Hosted jointly by the European Movement Austria and the European Commission Representation at the House of the European Union, the event will focus on the country's reform progress and the hurdles that remain on its path towards accession.
Whilst in the Austrian capital, Mr Konaković is scheduled to hold formal talks with Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger.
His itinerary also includes a visit to the Austrian Integration Fund to meet with members of the diaspora community, followed by a series of engagements with prominent business leaders and commercial representatives to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral trade and industrial cooperation.
