Bosnia and Herzegovina assembled women's national handball team after 13 years, with their first gathering being set for March 15 already.

“This is a great day for women's handball in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said team director Elmir Grabcanovic.

He confirmed that Radan Rovcanin will be the team's head coach.

“We are starting from scratch. We are the last team on the EHF (European Handball Federation) list. We must work continuously. Let's work, that's the most important,” he told N1.

Grabcanovic also said the team has applied to compete in Euro 2022 qualifiers, starting this autumn.

Both Grabcanovic and Rovcanin will reach out to the players who qualify to be part of the national team, while their first gathering has been set for March 15 in Lukavac.
