Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 241 new coronavirus cases and three more fatalities among COVID patients, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Friday.

The new results came from 1,815 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

Healthcare authorities in the Federation (FBiH) entity performed 1,298 lab tests of which 186 samples were positive for the novel coronavirus, which brings the coronavirus total in this part of BiH to 135,617. The region also confirmed three more deaths among COVID-19 patients, 5,551 in total.

Republika Srpska (RS) entity reported 49 new coronavirus cases out of 287 lab tests performed, bringing the coronavirus total in this region to 64,730. Its healthcare authorities reported no new COVID-19 deaths, which leaves this number at 3,812 since the epidemic outbreak.

Brcko District confirmed six more coronavirus cases (6,729 in total) and no deaths over the past 24 hours (338 deaths since the epidemic outbreak).
