Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 56 new coronavirus cases and no related fatalities, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Sunday.

The new results came from 1,671 lab tests performed on those who reported the infection symptoms.

With 46 new cases reported over the past 24 hours out of 948 tests performed, the Federation (FBiH) entity logged a total of 134,998 cases. The region's death toll stands at 5,544.

Republika Srpska (RS) entity authorities reported 10 new COVID patients out of 231 lab tests performed, 64,551 cases since the epidemic outbreak. A total of 3,809 patients has died.

Brcko District confirmed no new coronavirus cases since the last update and has logged 6,713 in total. So far, 338 patients have died.
