Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded 578 new coronavirus cases and no COVID deaths, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The new results came from 2,542 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

The Federation entity recorded 393 new cases out of 1,772 tests performed over the past 24 hours, bringing the coronavirus total in this part of the country to 139,659. With no new COVID fatalities reported, the death toll in this region remains at 5,587.

As for Republika Srpska entity, its healthcare authorities confirmed 167 new cases out of 500 lab tests performed. The coronavirus total in this region now stands at 66,309 and with no new fatalities confirmed its death toll remains at 3,859.

Brcko District logged 18 new cases and no fatalities over the past 24 hours.
