Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded 654 new coronavirus cases and 30 COVID deaths, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

The new results come from 2,823 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

The Federation entity logged 286 new cases out of 1,731 tests, bringing the coronavirus total to 151,138. With 11 new fatalities confirmed over the past 24 hours, the death toll in this part of the country is 5,978.

As for Republika Srpska entity, its healthcare authorities confirmed 349 new cases out of 912 tests performed over the past 24 hours. The coronavirus total in this part of the country is now 75,002 and with 19 new deaths the death toll has reached 4,229.

Brcko District reported 19 new cases and no fatalities. The coronavirus total in Brcko District now stands at 7,635 and the death toll at 367.
