A total of 2,026 infections were confirmed among the 4,395 people tested in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours and another 34 COVID-19 patients passed away in the country, healthcare authorities said on Saturday.
Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity registered 1,405 infections among 3,047 samples tested, as well as eight new COVID-19 fatalities.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 501 of 1,114 people tested were positive for the virus and 22 patients died.
Bosnia’s Brcko District registered 120 new infections and four COVID-19 deaths.
