Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 180 new coronavirus cases and four fatalities among COVID patients, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Thursday.

The new results came from 2,480 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

Healthcare authorities in the Federation (FBiH) entity performed 1,964 lab tests of which 137 samples were positive for the novel coronavirus, which brings the coronavirus total in this part of BiH to 135,431. The region also confirmed two more deaths among COVID-19 patients, 5,548 in total.

Republika Srpska (RS) entity reported 40 new coronavirus cases out of 277 lab tests performed, bringing the coronavirus total in this region to 57,980. Its healthcare authorities also reported two more COVID-19 deaths, 3,812 since the epidemic outbreak.

Brcko District confirmed three more coronavirus cases and no deaths over the past 24 hours.
